Rehabilitation of and adding height to a building used as offices

141 boulevard Haussmann, Paris 8e

In 2016, Eurosic entrusted the rehabilitation of this office building to architectural firms Studios Architecture and CALQ.

Changes were made to the massing, structure, floor areas and floors of the existing building. The main changes involved adding two levels to the building overlooking Boulevard Haussmann, and one level to the main building on the wing overlooking the back courtyard. At the rear, the old facades were completely removed and a new facade designed featuring curtain wall with vertical anodised aluminium brise soleils and digital printing on certain panes to add personality, giving it a contemporary and graphic look.

The building, now classed as being open to the public under category ERP 5 houses an exhibition room on the ground floor with a glass roof which was raised up by one level.

Value was added to prestigious spaces : Pierre Blanco Classico on the floor of the entrance hall, wood on the steps of the main staircase.

The urban renovation has been enhanced even further with several terraces, some of which have been planted.
